Handicap Pennants Blitz Round 1

The seasons kicked off for our Handicap Pennants Team and Captain Stu has selected his players for the first outing to Friendly Feilding for Round 1 to take on the River City Belmont side.

Sunday our Handicap Pennants Team greeted the Wanganui side at Feilding Golf Club amidst polar conditions on course

The Team had dominace early on with Kalvin, coming off hot success from Club Champs, obliterating his opponent.

Colin and Graham each won their matches, combining well as per, however taking only a half in the 4ball.

Nigel and Glenn stumbled out of the blocks but soon enough they gained the upper hand and brought in yet more victorys.

Captain Stu gifted Belmont a lone point after unfortunately coming off second best on the 18th hole.

A grand start to the campaign regardless, 7.5 - 1.5 Win for MGC
