Ladies Pennants stay true to form

It's all a familiar feeling for our Ladies Monday Pennants Team who came out victorious in their Grand Final matchup today!

In a very deja vu setting, this year's final against Rangatira Pink was a repeat of last year's final with many familiar faces on both sides.

The scoreline of 5 - 3 was a margin narrower than previous, with wins to Sarah McVerry, Bron Bielby, Ros Morrison and a Half coming from Margie Simpson with very close contests in the remainders. It was the Fourball results which got the team across the line with a point coming from Rachel / Sarah and another Half from Bron / Margie to get the job done!

That's back-to-back titles now for our Marton Ladies and a truly outstanding achievement to everyone involved, retaining the shield and etching their names in the history books.
