MGC Reign over Region

The Waitangi long weekend saw numerous events happening across the district with a handful of Marton Members heading out to enjoy the spoils of it all.

Sunday was a trip to Foxton Golf Club to attend the West Coast Foursomes with players always enjoying the friendly atmosphere that comes with it.
Marton made podium placings in the best nett competition with the Duncan brothers Stu and Adrian claiming 3rd place along with Colin and Baz in a comfortable 6th place both notching Twos aswell. Well done fellas 

Monday saw our MGC Europeans travel to Feilding Golf Club to play in the Waitangi Open which was a great day on course with our Feilding pals.
Marton again made podium with our Resident Frenchman Max Ramiroz taking out top spot 1st place in a field of 97 with a mighty nett 65! Congratulations Max, a great achievement!

But it doesn't stop there! Our visiting and honorary Marton Member Gabrielle McCullough (Max's sister-in-law) also took 1st place in the Women's division with a nett 66! Congratulations Gabby!
