MGC Saturday Club Day Results

A prime day for golf yesterday with the course bouncing back to its former glory.

A large field of 40+ players enjoyed the spoils for our Club Competition with our new friends from Waimate joining us along with numerous friendly faced green fee players coming out also. Great to see MGC thriving.

While playing calender catchup after so many weeks off over the wet winter months, yesterday was the Medal Cup Final, Winter Cup Final and the Final round of the Galpin Putting Shield.

Not to take the spotlight away from the days competition winner, who had a nett score of 68, Anna Cullen! Well done!

Winter Cup Winner for 2022, Club President Dick Fullerton-Smith.
The match was a competitive one with the result being decided late on the 17th with Dick thanking his opposition Jayme Bremner for the game and congratulating him on his years achievements.

Galpin Putting Shield Winner for 2022, our newly elected Vice Club Captain, Stu Duncan.
With a nett 70 round yesterday which included only 25 putts to secure him the title, new VC Stu was a happy chap.
