18.11°cThe Street Cup was played earlier this month which is the 18 hole variant that plays alongside our Rosebowl 36 hole Stableford Tournament
The 18 hole results came in with
2x tied for 1st place with 37 points AND
2x tied for 2nd place with 32 points!
The match committee discussed with the players and in good spirits, rather than a countback, the players wanted more golf!
A 3 hole playoff was decided upon between Don Clark & Simon Mitchell for 1st and Anna Cullen & Varina Mitchell for 2nd which proved very intriguing for the 36 hole players who were onlooking across the fairways as they realised something special was happening.
After 21 holes, this years Street Cup Winner was Simon Mitchell! Congratulations
