Pennants Prove a Point

Late reporting from our Mens B Grade Pennants Team who last week traveled down to Foxton in a top of the table clash with Manawatu Golf Club.

It was definitely a tight affair between the top two sides with the morning foursomes resulting in 2x Halves along with a win for our dynamic duo of Darren & Jayden whose winning record continues on this season.

In the singles matches, the team felt confident on the familiar Foxton turf with young superstar Ryan coming home first all square and slowly the points began to roll in from there with wins to Aron, Nik and Darren.

Captain Shay returned home all sqaure with high fives and fist bumps all round as the team prevailed over a Manawatu side who fought gallantly.

Final tally a 6 - 3 Victory to the Real MGC!

The B Grade top 3 are still very much inseparable with Round 5 on April 23rd at Palmerston North.
